This movie caught my attention because of Armie Hammer whom I was closely following ever since U.N.C.L.E. And boy it was everything that I imagined it would be like.

I didn’t read the book but I think I should have and then watched it. The love affair between a 17 year old italian teenage boy and an american doctoral student is just magical. The picturesque towns of italy and its weather also seem to have a character of their own.

The most enticing part about the movie is how their relationship is seen as nothing but love. There are no judgements. No arguements. No advices. It is just in the moment pure passion. And everyone in the world of Elio seem to understand his emotions and feelings. Watch it alone or with your significant other and see yourself overcome with passion. Because in a way, we all have our Elios suppressed somewhere inside us by our adult lives.
