This is a movie I saw reluctantly for Ron Swanson and also it was Mc Donalds. But the movie is very thought provoking. We see capitalism in its best form.
Michael Keaton offers the same diligence he offers in every other role. But my favorite part of the movie is the tour that the McDonalds brothers give Ray Croc in the beginning of the movie. The fact that a successful business is built after so much experimentation is just so inspiring for the rest of us fighters out there. The creation of the speedee system, the smaller menu, the takeaway idea, everything is a beautiful amalgamation of such hardwork and perseverance.
It’s a good watch on anyday. The film doesn’t try to sugar coat Ray Croc’s hostile takeover of the company from the brothers. But also throws in the fact that Croc’s vision for the company makes it what it is today in terms of expansion which the brothers don’t even aspire for. Don’t miss it.
